My MBA dissertation explored the extent to which Outplacement Consultants meet the needs of those people managing or experiencing redundancy. The knowledge gained placed me in the privileged position to assist thousands of people to move into more rewarding, fulfilling careers.

With more than 25 years in retail management at senior level, I have successfully combined this experience with a genuine enthusiasm for encouraging people to realise their own potential. I understand how the business world operates and the pressures that exist in that environment.
I have extensive outplacement and training experience with such blue chip companies as Motorola, EMI, Zarlink, Northern Foods, Britannia Zinc Ltd and Nissan.
I have used both one-to-one counselling and group workshops to help rebuild personal confidence and re-motivate people, and in so doing redirect and refocus their careers. In this way they have rediscovered a new inspiration and enthusiasm.

An experienced counsellor, facilitator and trainer, my career has focused on the design and delivery of learning events that are value-driven and which balance client objectives and individuals' needs.
During the past few years, I have worked as a Consultant for Skyros in London, Greece and Thailand. This holistic holiday company runs over 200 special interest courses, providing participants with the opportunity to develop interpersonal and practical skills and interests.
Career management consultancy has proven to be a natural next step in my own career, and I have found outplacement consultancy in particular to be especially rewarding. Since graduating in 2000, I have personally placed thousands of Sales, Tele-Marketing, Administrative and Call Centre personnel into temporary and permanent positions. As a result, I have gained an in-depth insight into what today's employers are seeking in the people they employ.
My role within A Perfect Career is to use this knowledge of the recruitment market to:
